About

Adept Productions is a one-person software & media studio built on a simple belief: technology should leave things better than it found them. Every app in the catalogue started the same way — a pain point in a community I'm part of, and the itch to build the fix.

There's always a challenge greater than the one you're facing — so why be afraid now?

That's the ethos behind the studio, and it drives two things under one roof: software — small, focused apps that do one thing well, respect your machine, and don't phone home — and media — educational entertainment about technology, videos that make the tech make sense for the communities using it. All of it is built, shipped, and self-hosted by one person — hardware, hypervisor, and everything above it.

Progress on everything is public in the dev notes, and the thinking behind it lives on the blog.
